Each year, young artists across Western Australia are invited to create new work in response to a theme developed by the Hyper team at the City of Swan. In 2025, HyperVision turns 18, and this year’s theme is Reflect, encouraged artists to explore ideas of memory, identity and perspective through creative expression.
Open to young people aged 12 to 25, Reflect welcomed entries across a wide range of mediums, including painting, sculpture, photography, fashion, film, jewellery and experimental works. The result is a vibrant and diverse showcase of emerging talent, exhibited at MJAC from Saturday 25 July to Sunday 24 August.
HyperVision is proudly presented by the City of Swan and forms part of the Hyper Series, a youth-led program supporting young people to create, curate, and celebrate arts and culture in their community.
