DADAA ON TRACK

A dance, movement, and performance group for young people and adults where you’ll learn new skills and explore a range of performance styles. Led by professional dance artists, these technique classes explore movement, improvisation, contrasting rhythms, and momentum.

indigo junction | Maali Deadly YorgaS

The Maali Deadly Yorga Women’s Group is a group of local Aboriginal Women who connect through cultural and creative activities on a fortnightly basis. Local Elders participate in the group and encourage young women to engage in fortnightly activities.

Swan valley baby sensory

Each and every Baby Sensory class is designed to promote baby's brain development through a range of sensory activities that will delight babies and parents alike through their physical and fun interactions.  Providing developmental information, resource ideas to use at home, and music and movement.

SWAN TOASTMASTERS

Toastmasters provides communication and leadership training in a club environment where members meeting to fine tune their public speaking skills.  New members are always welcome, as we thrive on supporting each other’s  growth and celebrating our successes together.

Trinity studio of irish dance

At Trinity Studio we aim to inspire all dancers and share our passion of the art of Irish dancing.
We strive to foster dancers to grow in self development, self confidence and learn valuable life skills in working together as a team.

veena’s school of indian dance

Veena’s School of Indian Dances (VSID) has been conducting classes across various locations in Perth for the past 11 years. At Midland Junction Arts Centre, we hold Saturday afternoon sessions where children and adults of all ages learn Bollywood and Indian classical dance forms.

MACARIO | Presented by Papalote Australia

Papalote Australia is pleased to present a theatrical adaptation of the classic Mexican novel “Macario”, written by Bruno Traven (1913). Set on the Day of the Dead, it showcases the Mexican attitude toward death, honouring the deceased and the natural cycle of life and death. This play features colourful and joyful traditional Mexican music and dance.

Sun 7 Sep | 1-2:45pm and 4:40-6:15pm | Suitable for ages 12+, parental guidance is recommended for children under 12 years.

We will also discuss how to link these scene creation to any educational subject or community issue you would like to explore as well as social emotional learning, confidence, and creativity building.
