Understanding Local Aboriginal Culture
Join Bibbulmun man John Mogridge, to better understand local Aboriginal culture, protocols and the complexities and richness of language. Through objects, stories and discussion John will share insight into Aboriginal culture, to build respect and connection.
John is the City of Swan Aboriginal Partnership and Development Officer. He is passionate about young Aboriginal people knowing who they are and where they are from, and helping all people open their eyes to the richness of the culture of the First People’s of Bibbulmun Boodja.
This community activity will coincide with the Cale St Festival, Midland that runs from 2 – 8pm.
