Join award winning glass artist Silvana Ferrario at her home studio for a one-day kiln formed glass workshop.

In this approachable workshop designed for beginners, you will create two glass pieces to take home, learning the basic skills for fusing and slumping glass into a platter, including design, techniques, how glass behaves under temperature, cutting glass, preparing glass for firing and using moulds.

Learn the basic skills for making pot melts using leftover glass as you explore colour combinations, hot firing glass techniques and how to prepare and slump glass using a mould.

Your finished piece will be ready to collect a few days after the workshop to take home and admire.
