Learn to use a pottery wheel over eight weeks with local ceramicist Greg Crowe. Open to both beginner or intermediate potters, you’ll learn to centre a ball of clay on the wheel in motion and form bowls, mugs or plates, adding add handles, glaze and other decorative elements. Intermediate potters will learn to work with larger amounts of clay, creating more challenging forms as well as techniques for producing sets of ceramic vessels. There are only eight spots in each timeslot so book early to secure your place.

This course includes a bisque and glaze firing with work ready for collection 2-3 weeks after final class. Tools and 1 x 10kg bag of clay will be provided per student, BYO additional stoneware clay or purchase a bag from the ceramics technician. Please wear closed in shoes. One left-handed wheel available.
