Spring Open Studios Day

  • Midland Junction Arts Centre 276 Great Eastern Highway Midland, WA, 6056 Australia (map)

Our Spring Open Studios Day Invites you to immerse yourself in the creative heart of the Midland Junction Arts Centre.

The day will include artists talks from Beyond Interpretations artists in the gallery, where you can hear about the works directly from the artist themselves. Discover how they convey ideas through diverse mediums and the challenges in their creative development.

You will also get a chance to see what goes on behind the scenes with our Artists-In-Residence opening their doors to talk about their work and even allow you to participate in their creative development.

For those who have never been to MJAC before it is also an opportunity to see the historic site that has been continuously occupied as a place of learning since 1895. You can wander through the vibrant venue and experience why this site has such a special place in the history and culture of the Swan region.

To complete the experience, there is also a chance to get your Christmas shopping done early with our new MJAC Shop being open for those eager to purchase one-of-a-kind pieces crafted by local artisans.

If you really want to get creative there are workshops on through out the day. Please note that these, unlike the open day, are not free of charge and places need to be book beforehand (see below).

We look forward to welcoming you to the venue and bringing the community together through this blend of art and activity.
