Print and bind your own artist sketchbook in this 2-week course with Bina Butcher. Experiment with mono-printing, embossing and collage before learning to hand bind your prints into a unique artist book using coptic binding; a glueless binding technique. You will have access to a range if different papers including Japanese rice paper, hot pressed print making papers, drafting film and more.
Bina is a local printmaker who's studio work explores the expanded field of printmaking, including photography, video, sound and sculpture. Since graduating from Curtin University in 2016, Bina has been involved in several state and interstate residencies and exhibitions. Learn more about Bina here.
